My Trial (Part 38) “It’s all in the Seed”
September 17th, 2007 by admin
We all know how farming works. The farmer plants the seed, and then he must cultivate it. The cultivating of the seed is the keeping of the seed. He must tend to it and create an ENVIRONMENT OF GROWTH. He must keep the soil tender. He must water the seed. He must fertilize the seed. Then he must keep the seed clear of weeds that choke. Then he must wait patiently for the growth and finally the fulfillment of the seed, which is its fruit. I really hope you are getting this. I am trying to explain it as plainly as I know how. I used to read the bible in fruit form. Now I am reading the bible in seed form. You see, I used to pray for healing and God would answer my prayer by giving me seeds of healing (healing scriptures). When I didnt see the healing, I would pray again, and God would answer my prayer again by giving me seeds of healing. Every time I would read and plant a scripture in my heart concerning healing it was a seed of healing. But since I was looking for fruits of healing I never saw the seeds, and therefore, never cultivated the seeds. I kept asking for healing and God kept giving me seeds, but I wasnt looking for seeds. I was looking for the fruit. I never knew that God was answering my prayer all the time. Mark 11:24 states, therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. This verse made even more sense when I looked at it through the seed form mentality. When I ask for something from the Lord, he gives it to me in seed form, and though I cannot see the manifestation of what I am praying for I have received it. I have received it in seed form.
